Avi Parush

Avi Parush is an associate professor at the Industrial Management and Engineering Faculty, The Israel Institute of Technology. With over thirty years of practice and research in HCI and usability, Avi Parush’s current research focuses on healthcare with a particular emphasis on how HCI and usability influences patient safety and empowerment. He also studies teamwork in complex and critical situations in healthcare and other domains, and simulation-based training with a focus on team training. He is the emeritus founding editor in chief of the Journal of Usability Studies, and is currently on the editorial board of the Human Factors journal.

Bill Gribbons

Bill Gribbons is Director of the Human Factors and User Experience programs at Bentley University. In 1999, Dr. Gribbons founded the User Experience Center at Bentley, and continues to hold a senior consulting role. In 2013, he founded the Bentley User Experience Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For over twenty-nine years he has provided strategy consulting, testing services, and expert reviews to a diverse range of corporate clients around the world. Dr. Gribbons routinely delivers customized seminars on the topics of human factors, user experience design, product innovation, and UX strategy for organizations. He has researched and published on topics such as patient-centered design and technology.

Ronen Rosenblum

Dr. Ronen Rozenblum is a healthcare executive, researcher, lecturer and entrepreneur. He is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. He is also the founding Director of the Unit for Innovative Healthcare Practice & Technology and Director of Business Development of the Center for Patient Safety Research and Practice at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He has a wide breadth of expertise and practical knowledge in developing innovative methods and information technologies to enhance patient-centered care, patient experience and engagement. He is involved in a variety of initiatives related to these domains including, research and pilot projects, teaching, consulting and committees. His contributions in these domains have been recognized nationally and internationally.
